We are all learning to deal with shortages in the supply chain, shipping delays and many other headaches caused by the pandemic. Now we need to add winter weather into the mix!
Ice, snow, and freezing temps across the country precipitates the need for planning. Most companies have become experts in forecasting demand, but we also need to think about storage during the winter. While the air temperature maybe adequate, concrete floors are likely much colder. Using pallets and shelving to keep products off the floor is beneficial to maintaining its integrity.
To keep your shipment moving and not sitting in a cold warehouse, we will not be shipping on Fridays unless specified once temperatures drop below 30°. Questions or concerns? Give us a call or email. We’re here for you!
